Volatility is the New Normal: Here’s your security

Mel,   Remember the container ship that got wedged in the Suez canal in March 2021? Within days hundreds of ships halted.  In less than one week, 12% of global trade halted.  This is merely one e-a-s-y example of volatility: a tiny event in some remote corner of the world made life perilous and unpredictable for a billion people.  The shockwave reverberated across the earth. Police officer chokes George Floyd; protests erupt across the globe. Wuhan virus creates a 2+ year worldwide pandemic.  One butterfly flapping its wings spawns a hurricane on the opposite side of the globe Volatility is the new normal The New Volatility is because the world is so interconnected. It means: If your clients are not absolutely convinced of the superiority of your offerings, the slightest doubt leads them to indecision. They will hang on to their dollars and keep their endless 'options' open.  The result: Rising credit card balances - Sweating payroll - tapping lines of credit - issuing sickening, gut-wrenching decisions. Cutting muscle cuz there's no more fat to lop off. The same volatility may well bring you a cash flow surge six months from now. A guy in Oregon today told me there aren't enough people available to drill water wells right now, and water drillers' prices are through the roof… …but you won't be enjoying any cash flow surges if you're out of business before then. "Perry, my tax clients are reporting revenue drops on average of 30% in 2023."  -Tax strategist Shanyn Stewart at my September Roundtable meeting  Are we in a recession? I can't say. What I can tell you is I have numerous clients who are doing better than ever before. And I encounter many others each week who are scrambling madly to pay their bills.  The disparity between the "haves" and "have-nots" is greater than ever.  The common denominator for the "haves" is: Between them and their competitors, they are the undisputed top choice. The common denominator for the "have-nots" is: They are #2, #3, #4, #5 in their market. Fighting over the scraps. That's a recipe for misery. And bankruptcy and divorce as well. “Profitability is higher than ever” (Live presentation)

Mel,   A.I. has all but eradicated the need for humans to do lower level and even intermediate level marketing tasks. $100 per hour gigs have deteriorated into $10 per hour grunt work…and in some cases made them simply evaporate into mist.  POOF!   But A.I. has elevated the importance of Simplify, Star Principle, Tactical Triangle Takeover and Network Effect.
