Mel,

My sales director and former professional gambler, John Paul Mendocha, knows very well that “the house always wins.”

Play any casino game long enough and you’ll lose money. It’s just the law of the land.

So, John got out of that game. And got into high-tech sales and consulting.

And you know what he found about that game?

The odds are even worse!

The game is rigged. Everybody loses. If you play the game as it’s traditionally played, you’re screwed.

The house loses, the player loses, everybody loses.

Here’s how it played one of John’s coaching clients, Roger, for a sucker. And how it’s probably playing YOU right now…

Big Bucks Company X needed to solve a problem. So they called in Roger and 4 other consultants to do a song-and-dance and submit proposals. For free, of course.

Then they tossed out the worst 2.

Then they had Roger and the other 2 do some additional (free) consulting to dig deeper into the problem, update their proposals, and pitch one more time.

Then they tossed out one and asked Roger and the other guy to “give us your best and final proposal.”

The last two lucky souls knocked themselves silly working up a kick-ass proposal.

They went back and forth with department heads. Interviewing, researching, digging and even advising.

At every meeting Roger had to “sell” himself and the project all over again.

And at every meeting the client sucked up Roger’s ideas and started implementing the ones that sounded good.

Did I mention this is all for free?

Then Roger presents his precious proposal…and the company picks him.

Hurray for Roger! Big payday, right? All that hard work was worth it in the end, right?

Wrong, because they didn’t stop chiseling there.
They said, “Geez, Roger, that’s a lot of money for us to fork over all at once. How about we pay you $3750 a month for the first few months…and if it all works out….we’ll stroke you that big check later?”

Roger had dumped so much sweat and tears and cash into this project that he accepted the tiny morsel through grinding teeth.

And kept telling himself that the big payday was coming.

So, Roger the “big winner” works for a few months for $3750 and then they say, “Well, this just isn’t working out, so we’ll have to stop here. Thanks for your time.”

5 months of song-and-dance, free consulting, research, interviewing, advising, and proposal prep…then 3-4 months of “paid” consulting at $3750 a month…and then poof!

Eight or nine months of work down the drain.

No big payday. Works out to about $55/day for the “Big Winner.”

And the company doesn’t even get their problem fixed.

Sucks to be Roger.

But you know the dirty little secret? It sucks to be the client too.

John once asked one of his 6-figure consulting clients, “Does this chiseling strategy actually work for you, the customer? How many projects actually get done?”

The client’s response…

“John, maybe 2% of all consulting projects actually get completed. Most get cut or just die on the vine.”

Nobody wins.

Listen up, if you’re telling yourself that the way to get big, fat consulting contracts is to give away free consulting…you’re playing a sucker’s game.

And if you’re playing it, you’re going to lose. And your client is going to lose too.

Get out of that game.

And break into winner’s game.

On our 6-figure consulting presentation, we showed you how do that.

We covered…
  1. The "Four Quadrant Model" for breaking through the $100,000 barrier.
  2. The critical "Clipboard Concept" and how it leads to higher fees AND gets your clients to actually implement what you recommend.
  3. How to stair-step your "Proof Package” until it’s a bona fide “shock and awe” package that no client can resist.
  4. How to consistently upgrade your clients and increase your fees while selling LESS
Plus, if you stay to the end of the presentation…

I’ll show you how to get my most powerful consulting coaching program, “Consulting Accelerator” and get $1500 back!
