We've been quietly improving our custom AI - which is only trained on our own expert content specific to Australia.
It's fully integrated into our day-to-day. The biggest impact is customer service.
We get a lot of emails asking for help about solar, batteries, and EV chargers.
When a ticket comes into Zendesk our AI 'Alan' automatically proposes a reply.
The customer service person always reads the proposed reply, makes any edits (or sometimes has a chuckle and trashes the whole thing), then sends the reply to the customer.
About 60% of responses are bang on, first time. And many of these are deeply technical: e.g. answering "I've got a 3 phase supply with Enphase microinverters, can I add a single phase Powerwall and still get backup which charges from solar when the grid goes down?".
So it means our existing staff can handle increased volumes as we grow (we are growing at about 20% per year).
