The Times subsidizes Nexus 7 to snag subscribers
Here's an interesting way to gain digital subscribers: News Corp's The Times is reportedly selling readers a Nexus 7 tablet for around $80 (usually priced at $320) when they subscribe to the newspaper's weekly digital access package. Essentially, The Times is providing the content, the platform, and the incentive to become a digital subscriber.
