The AP is selling ads in its tweets, but Twitter doesn't mind
In an effort to diversify its revenue, the AP is selling its own sponsored tweets on its Twitter account (@AP). The move has garnered mixed responses from the Twittersphere, but most users don't seem to mind, nor does the platform itself. The big question, however, is how long Twitter will stand for being cut out of the deal (see also: http://bit.ly/VOUTi6)?
