Mel,

Have you ever heard of Alexander von Humbolt?

He was a Prussian geographer, naturalist, and explorer who lived from 1769 to 1859.

And he's one of the candidates for "last man to know everything". English mathematician-physicist Karl Pearson referred to Humbolt in this way.

According to Pearson, Humbolt possessed an IQ large enough and lived at a moment in history that would have enabled Humbolt to "take a survey of the entire domain of the extant science".

In other words, he could very possibly have known everything that was known by humans.

Of course, that's impossible now. No human can know everything that's known.

Now, finding out what to ignore is a far more profitable endeavor than finding out all there is to know.

And that's what Mike Rhodes showed us on the first AdWords Academy webinar.

You see, long ago, it became impossible to be an "Alexander Humbolt of AdWords". I may have been one years ago, but it's long since grown tentacles so long it's impossible for anyone to know it all.

AdWords is now so complex and rapidly changing that knowing what to ignore and what NOT to do is far more profitable than knowing all there is to know...and monitoring everything there is to monitor...and tweaking everything there is to tweak.

Mike's insights on what NOT to do saved those who tuned into our first webinar hundreds if not thousands of dollars in StupidityTax.

And he's going to keep the insights coming on Thursday.

Don't try to be a Humbolt. Get laser-focused on exactly what you need to do ... and what you need to stop doing today.
