I was doing this Renaissance Time and I'd just write down whatever comes to my mind in the morning, and it came to me, "Do a newspaper ad."
I talked to the guy for the newspaper. He said the price is $800 and I was like, "No, it's pandemic. Nobody is advertising. I'll take it for $400," and he said, "Okay, I'll give it to you for $400."
I posted in the forum and everybody attacked me. "Why the hell you want to spend $400 on a newspaper ad when you can do Google ads?" I said, "I did Google ads and it didn't work for me. I'm going to try this."
Then I was like, "Well, everybody should be right, but I'm going to trust Perry Marshall. I'm going to follow this Renaissance.
You never know."
My bank account was negative. I made $15,000 out of the newspaper ad. I repeated it and it worked again, and I'm very thankful for this.
Then I got introduced through Perry to John Paul Mendocha, who's teaching me sales, and it's working pretty much.
I mean if you don't believe in this, you're losing out.
I do Memos from the Head Office also that Perry only teaches. I mean the private ones, too. It's insane. I wasn't believing it. I was like, "What the hell are these people doing? How the hell do you know this information?" And once I applied them to my business and my life, I see tremendous change. Yes, there are struggles, but you'll always find the support through this stuff.
Gary from Memos from the Head Office told me, "Patience is listening, so you're going to listen every morning to what God or whatever you believe in wants to tell you, because they really want to tell you something. Just listen, that's it."
