Will You Suffer “Catastrophic Leadership Failure”?

Are you vulnerable to making inaccurate predictions and decisions based on this positive motivation? Of course you are. And finally, and most importantly... 3. Are you consistently seeking the advice from discerning business experts from OUTSIDE your business who are NOT vulnerable to "motivated reasoning"? If you are not, especially in THESE chaotic times…when making accurate predictions is harder than it's been in decades…well… I don't know how you're going to avoid suffering some catastrophic leadership failures. I've always believed in getting to the TRUTH…not the sale. Over nearly 20 years, I've built my reputation on trust and truth. I try to shine a burning hot ray of sunshine into the haze of motivated reasoning. I try to stop entrepreneurs from rationalizing doing the WRONG things. All of these are 100% necessary to avoid catastrophic leadership failure. I do them all myself.
