5 Hard & Fast Rules of Fear Management Joey & Jamie Bridges - February 25, 1:30 ET Watch the 60-sec sneak peek video here   Mel,   “I have to get a haircut.”    That may sound like an odd signal that I’m on to something big.    But that’s the thought that pops into my head when I start closing in on a breakthrough.    “I should get a haircut.”   I’ve come to recognize that bizarre thought as the way my fear tries to distract me from something BIG I need to be doing.    I used to get that thought all the time when I was closing in on my big “80/20” breakthrough.    And I still get it now and then…and I know if I can push through it, I’m going to discover something huge.    We entrepreneurs like to think we’re world-beaters. We’re not afraid of anything. We’ve set out on our own and taken risks that the “quietly desperate” would never dream of taking.    We are unafraid. Nothing can pierce our gladiator armor.    But our fear knows that about us.    So, it doesn’t attack us with obvious weapons.    It attacks us with little poisonous blow darts like “I need to get a haircut.”   I don’t know what your personal “I need to get a haircut” is, but I know your fear holds you back in some area of your business.
