If yes, that's a serious problem. Not someday, now.
If your value is in information or general advice that a good AI can approximate for free, your moat is already draining.
Is your revenue tied to result, or to hours worked?
Result is the right answer.
Hours is a billing model that AI is dismantling from both ends. Clients increasingly resist paying for time, and AI keeps compressing how much time things actually take.
If your revenue is tied to hours, you're exposed in a way that's going to become more obvious, not less.
Can a $100 million company staff your niche?
If a large, well-capitalized competitor decided to enter your space tomorrow and throw serious resources at it, is there anything stopping them?
If the answer is no, you don't have a business.
You have a position that someone bigger could take from you whenever it becomes worth their while.
These aren't hypotheticals.
They're filters.
