Mel,   Spring 2002. I was 6 months out of the Dilbert Cube. Every dollar had to come back with friends attached in 90 days or less, or else I was going to be in trouble.    I remember sitting in a Des Moines Iowa Holiday Inn on the last day before the registration deadline, deliberating about whether to invest money in Ken McCarthy's System Seminar or not.    I finally decided to give it a go and signed up on one of those TV's with a cheesy Internet keyboard.    To say it changed my life would be an understatement.    It was actually one of the best business decisions I ever made in my life. That seminar was where I first learned about Pay Per Click advertising.    To say I know what it's like to hesitate over a major self-improvement investment is also an understatement.
