Perry Marshall Minute: Don’t wait for the next catastrophe to get clarity

Mel

"I used to spend a lot of time on Facebook, promoting live, local events. It was the best platform for that. Well, in 2020 those events were all scrapped. But for a while I kept going to Facebook several times a day. Scrolling, scrolling, scrolling, keep them doggies scrolling, RAWHIDE!"

But, I'm subject to depression. Facebook is depressing. 2020 was no time to be screwing around with anything that made me MORE depressed. So I got off. Now that some live events are picking back up, I'm not going back. I know I'll find a better way."

If anything good came from 2020, it's this…

Some used the extra time to take a loooong look at their lives and ask, "What's really important here?"

What is trivial?

What is a total waste of my time?

What actually contributes to my long-term success, and mental, physical and emotional wellbeing?

Which of my "friends" is a true friend and which are just "Facebook friends"?

And many who did this were surprised at the results.

They did NOT miss Facebook. Friends they THOUGHT were "ride or die" were not.

Day to day activities which seemed important and urgent…just…weren't.

They say that when you have a near-death experience, you come back realizing that most things we sweat and worry and struggle for…are just silly.

I watch how foolishly man guards his nothing…

Here's my million dollar advice: Don't wait until the next "2020" to do this. Don't wait for a near-death experience to do this.

In my book Detox, Declutter & Dominate, I show you the Planet Perry way to do this. It's our playbook for life freedom and entrepreneurial success…our way. It's free with your New Renaissance subscription.
